Family time having lunch at Mera Khana . This wonderful lady, left England during the days of Clement Atley as PM of UK just after Churchill and it was interesting talking to her about the Jarrow March of 5 – 31 October 1936 . It’s also known as the Jarrow Crusade, was an organised protest against the unemployment and poverty suffered in the British Tyneside town of Jarrow during the 1930s. For us historians it’s always a bonus 😂 Very nice ladies .

Yet another dish for the goat lovers. Aloo ghost ( Goat Curry on the bone) cooked to perfection with potatoes , onions , tomatoes and our in- house spices and herbs. Eaten with nan bread or rice.
